From next month Stones of the Yarra Valley will present a monthly series of informal and entertaining wine workshops, celebrating one of the fabulous wine varieties grown here in the Yarra Valley.

Hosted by Stephen Powell and a selected winemaker renowned for their expertise in a particular variety, our Wine Workshops will arm you with all the factual tidbits you'll need to really annoy guests at your next dinner party.

As our two experts guide you through the nuances of eight specially-selected wines, you will learn about the variety's history, its distinctive characteristics and place within the Yarra Valley wine industry.

Following the workshop, a sumptuous set lunch designed around the variety you are now masters in will be served, complete with three glasses of the Yarra Valley's finest.

Your dinner guests will hate you forever.
