A historic backdrop for weekend dining.
With uninterrupted views across the vineyards to the Great Dividing Range beyond, The Barn is Stones of the Yarra Valley’s main dining room. Set within the restored remnants of an 1860s barn, it offers an intimate space for private dining for up to 30 guests.
Our Menu
Groups of two - seven guests are welcome to choose between our two or three course menu.
Groups of more than eight guests are required to dine on our three course La Famiglia menu, with mains selected at time of booking.

SHARED ENTRÉE
Chickpeas fritters with zucchini mint puree, and tabouli
Feuille de brick prawns with baba ghanoush, pomegranate and herbs
Pan-seared Duck Breast with charred bay onions, confit baby beetroot, pickled cherry and port jus
MAIN COURSE (choice of)
Cauliflower steak with curried cauliflower puree, coconut yoghurt dressing, pomegranate and herbs
Lamb rump with pea puree, whipped fetta, mint gel and pickled roots
Crispy skin baked salmon with braised fennel and caper sauce
Roasted chicken with sundried tomato orzo
Barramundi with bouillabaisse, garlic purée, broccolini and green oil
SERVED WITH
Brussels sprouts with pecorino, pancetta and vincotto
Baked pumpkin with pumpkin ash dressing, pickled goji berries, spiced pepitas and quinoa salad (three course only)
SHARED PETIT FOURS
Persian love cake with rose water and pistachio
Orange blossom mousse with citrus pearls
Banoffee tart with whipped chantilly cream
Selection of cheeses, quince, dried fruits, lavosh + 30
*Groups of 8 guests or more will be required to join us on our 3 course ‘La Famiglia’ menu.
